Since Tradition Stamps on craft products are intended to give you a sense of trust, each product should be strictly inspected before designation so as not to disappoint consumers.
The inspection is made by the concerned local association basically for each item according to the inspection standard and methods approved by the Minister of Economy Trade and Industry. In case of complaint against an inspected item, the concerned association will be responsible for it. Each Tradition Stamp, except in the case of very small stamps, has an identification number so as to indicate a manufacturer of the product. In addition to this Tradition Stamp, a craft product that has passed inspection has a manufacturing-area stamp showing the name of traditional craft and the name of the association that has made an inspection in order to distinguish it from products made in other areas.
